Pee Wee Football Game Summaries

Week 1 - vs South Kenton Nittany Lions.  Newport won 8-0. 
Week 2 - vs Campbell County Red Devils.  Newport lost 0-14.
Week 3 - NO GAME, due to Ludlow Panthers not having a Pee Wee team.
Week 4 - We actually played 2 games, but neither counted towards our record, since they weren't "League" teams
  1st Game - vs Bellevue Tigers.  Newport won 16-6.   (Bellevue put together a mix of Midgets and Starters to play our Pee Wee's)
  2nd Game - vs Little Miami Panthers.  Newport won 18-6.  (They came down from Ohio to play us)
Week 5 - vs Fort Mitchell Spartans.  Newport won 24-8.
Week 6 - NO GAME, due to Dayton Green Devils not having a Pee Wee team.
Week 7 - vs Dixie Raiders.  Newport won 6-0.
Week 8 - vs Bengal Tigers. Newport won 26-6.
Week 9 - vs Erlanger Lions.  Newport won 28-6.
Postseason/Round 1 - vs Bengal Tigers.  Newport won 14-0.
Postseason/Round 2 - vs Spartans.  Newport lost 14-16.
Cranberry Bowl - vs Dixie Raiders.  Newport won 30-0.
 

Pee Wee Football Eligibility

1. Age – MAXIMUM of 8 years old on August 1st.  No Player will be eligible to participate in this division who has or will reach their 9th birthday prior to August 1st in the year which they play.

2. WEIGHT – MAXIMUM of 120 pounds (without clothing or equipment), as determined by an official weigh-in conducted under the direction and supervision of the League.

** Note: These are MAXIMUMS set by the league. Kids that want to play "above" thier division are allowed by the league, but will be reviewed by NFF on a case by case basis.

 

All teams, through their coaches, managers, or sponsors, are required to file with the League the following documents at the Official Weigh-Ins:

1. A signed contract.

2. A Copy of the Birth Certificate, or any Legal Document verifying age.

3. A Current Medical Certificate stating that the player is physically fit to participate in athletics.

4. A Copy of a school picture.

** Note: Teams may not add additional players after the late weigh-in day. (August 22)
